What stays on your Mac

Profiles, notes, sessions and transcripts are stored in a folder on your computer. We never receive them.

What is sent when you use credits

To produce an answer, WIRE sends the relevant text (a question, text read from your screen, recent conversation lines, your background notes and, for Copilot, screenshots) to our server, which passes it to Anthropic's API and returns the reply. We do not store this content. Our server records only your licence code, the time and the number of credits used.

Anthropic

Anthropic processes each request under its own terms and privacy policy. Do not send information you are not allowed to share with a third-party AI provider, such as confidential material covered by an agreement.

Payments

Purchases are handled by our payment provider, which acts as the seller of record and receives your payment details and email address. We do not see or store card numbers. We receive the licence and the email address needed to support you.

Using your own key

If you use your own API key, requests go directly from your Mac to the provider and our server is not involved.
